Fast 50 competition

Deloitte´s Technology Fast 50

The Deloitte’s 2017 Technology Fast 50 competition is aimed at fast-growing technology companies that have their headquarters in Iceland. Given their significant role as drivers of future growth, these companies deserve special recognition and support – and that is exactly what the competition is designed to provide.

Registration starts May 31st

Who can register?

Public and / or private companies that develop a technology-related product or service in Iceland and that have been in business for at least four years, can register for their chance to be nominated as one of the country’s 50 fastest-growing technology companies. Ranking is based on percentage of growth in turnover during the last four years.

Rising Stars competition

Companies that have been active in the technology sector for less than four years can participate in the special Rising Stars category of the competition.

In this category, the key is revenue potential rather than revenue growth. All applications are made through a pitch and a well-developed business plan. An external jury analyses each entry and makes a selection according to scalability, experience, management team expertise and highly promising growth.

Known as post-incubators, Rising Stars have the potential to develop into successful companies that stand out from their competitors. There are two awards in the Rising Star category, one for a company driven mainly by women entrepreneurs and another driven mainly by male entrepreneurs.

Are you the next Rising star in Iceland?

“Fast 50 puts the spotlight on remarkable companies that are sustainable in a challenging economic climate thanks to their courage and entrepreneurship. I strongly encourage all Icelandic technology companies to enter the 2017 competition.”
