Making an impact through UNLEASH 2018

Deloitte’s organization-wide WorldClass initiative seeks to empower 50 million people to succeed in the rapidly changing global economy. In order to reach this goal we are collaborating with others to find the most innovative solutions to the complex global challenges including education, skills development, and access to opportunity.

Deloitte is collaborating with UNLEASH for the second year, to bring together the brightest young minds from different sectors and backgrounds to determine and develop new solutions for the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). UNLEASH is a global non-profit organization that aspires to become the world's leading platform for scalable solutions to the SDGs.

Applying business skills to accelerate solutions

As lead innovation partner for UNLEASH, Deloitte facilitates innovation labs where Deloitte professionals apply their business capabilities and innovation experience to guide talented young people and social entrepreneurs towards tangible solutions. During the inaugural UNLEASH Lab 2017 in Denmark, 45 passionate Deloitte professionals facilitated labs for 1,000 social entrepreneurs.

Participation in the UNLEASH Lab provides a unique opportunity for Deloitte practitioners from around the world. They use their skills in new ways to make an impact that matters, and they are empowered to become the next generation of leaders working to solve complex global issues.

UNLEASH 2018

For the second year, Deloitte is acting as the lead innovation partner for UNLEASH Lab 2018, which is being held from held in Singapore from 30 May to 6 June 2018.

As the lead innovation partner, Deloitte will have 50 professionals from across its global network to facilitate the innovation labs, applying their business capabilities and innovation experience to guide the talented young participants and social entrepreneurs towards tangible solutions. In addition, there will be another 16 Deloitte professionals participating in the innovation labs and contributing their ideas. After UNLEASH, Deloitte will support three to five winning solutions that contribute to the WorldClass ambition.
