Deloitte Tohmatsu Group won the 2019 J-Win Diversity Award in both corporate and individual categories
Consistent development of D&I measures as priority agendas of group management
As management leaders increase their commitment towards Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), Deloitte Tohmatsu Group won the 2019 J-Win Award hosted by Non-Profit Organization J-Win, for "Basic Achievement Award" in the corporate award category, and "Leader Award" in the individual category.

TOKYO, JAPAN,March 14, 2019ーOn March 14, Deloitte Tohmatsu Group won the corporate "Basic Achievement Award" at the 2019 J-Win Diversity Award, hosted by the not-for-profit organization Japan Women's Innovative Network (J-Win for short). Also our Partner, Keiko Hayashi won the individual "Leader Award" being highly praised for her significant contribution for leading the creation of diversity and inclusion initiatives and corporate culture since the establishment of the Group D&I, and for promoting women empowerment at the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Deloitte Tohmatsu Group has positioned D&I as one of its key management strategies, and has built a system in which top leaders of the major business entities are actively involved under the leadership of the Group CEO. In terms of governance, D&I is overseen by the female Board Chair who was appointed last year. The leaders' commitment for D&I increased, and the Group was awarded the corporate award for applying individual key themes consistently throughout the Group. Deloitte was recognized as realizing an inclusive work environment, with an expectation of further advancement. The following are some of the measures and initiatives which were recognized.
