Actually, the recent stock price fall and exchange rate fluctuations have been manifested the worst way in Japan.

# What are the Consequences of Regulatory Reforms on the Market Risk?

In the midst of agitating financial markets worldwide, perhaps it is coincidental, but regulatory reforms, which would have effects on the trading business and market liquidity, have shown significant development.
The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) issued final rule on ‘Minimum capital requirements for Market Risk’ on January 14th.
This is the final outcome of the so-called ‘FRTB: Fundamental Review of the Trading Book’.

# Significantly Revised US Monetary Policy Outlook

The outlook towards the monetary policy in the US has significantly changed over the past month.
In the FOMC (Federal Open Market Committee), it was expected that interest rates would increase four times per year at the time of the recent interest rate hike on December 16th 2015.

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu has launched monthly ‘Macro-Risk Intelligence Web Casting’ as a series of new services commenced in February 2016.
The press conference was held in Deloitte Tokyo-Yaesu office on February 4th, subsequently covered by various newspapers and other media in Japan.
