The Chancellor of the Exchequer delivered his Budget on March 16, 2016 with a renewed focus on long term objectives.The Chancellor repeatedly stated that the UK is amongst the best prepared to deal with these challenges and reiterated that the country remains ‘open for business’. The Chancellor had the advantage of making today’s announcements following a range of positive economic indicators such as record low unemployment and an economy forecasted to grow at a faster rate than that of any other major developed country.
