Masaya Mori

Masaya is a futurist, innovator and business development leader with 20+ years emerging technologies, big data and AI across industries. Before joining Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting, he had been an executive officer in global internet service company for more than 10 years in charge of emerging technologies and AI, launching and leading research institutes at 7 locations of 5 countries with gathering 150+ PhDs on AI, bigdata, AR/VR/MR. He and his team got the award of Deep Learning Business Utilization from Nikkei BP.

Leveraging much experience, his work spans across industries with data analytics, digital marketing, AI, digital transformation in EC, advertisement, banking, securities, life insurance and so on.

In addition to the role at Deloitte, he is also a visiting professor at Tohoku University, an advisor of Japan Deep Learning Association, a program chair of AI & Robotics in Japan Institute of IT and so on. In the past he was a board member of several academic societies such as Information Processing Society of Japan, Database Society of Japan, etc.
