He joined Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu (2000～2009), Financial Tax Office, Policy and Legal Division, Planning and Coordination Bureau, Financial Services Agency (Deputy Director, 2009～2012), Kyoto University Law School (Part-time Lecturer of tax case study) (2010～2015), Ernst & Young Tax Co. and EY Law Co. (2012～2017). From June 2017 he joined Deloitte Tohmatsu Tax Co. and has participated in the Tax Controversy Team, supporting clients in managing tax controversy issues regarding overall foreign and domestic tax matters.
He wrote many articles, including Foreign Exchange Issues in International Taxation (IFA Branch Report for Japan), Cahiers de droit fiscal international (Vol. 94b, 2009), and The Application of the Japan-U.S. Tax Treaty to Trusts, 41 Tax Notes Int’l 577-588 (2006).
