Kashif Jahangiri

Kashif leads the Business Tax practice in KSA, providing tax advisory services to clients across the Kingdom. He joined Deloitte in December 2019 from another Big Four firm where he worked in different countries since 1992, with the last six years in Saudi Arabia as Head of International Tax.

Kashif has worked in Pakistan, Ireland, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia and has advised clients in various industries, including financial services (banks, big-ticket and retail leasing, insurance and investment funds), infrastructure projects (including EPC contracts, construction, and real estate and associated service contracting), hotel management companies, manufacturing, whole-sale and retail, joint ventures, energy and natural resources.

He has worked closely with taxation authorities in drafting tax laws, assisting the tax authorities in Ireland and a GCC member state in modifying their tax laws to create a level playing field for Islamic financial arrangements.
