Rushdi Kikhia

Rushdi serves as the Director of Independence and Ethics Officer of Deloitte Middle East since April 1, 2017. He serves all his stakeholders objectively and in a timely manner ensuring compliance with regulators’ requirements and meeting clients’ expectations. He was the Audit engagement Partner in Bahrain for many external and internal audit engagements since 2008.

Prior to joining Bahrain office, Rushdi worked for 5 years with Deloitte Kuwait. He is a qualified CPA from the State of Maine, USA. He has a strong background in the external audit of financial institutions, consumer industry companies, government entities and Telecom companies under International Financial Reporting Standards and local rules and regulations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He also serves on many internal control reviews for clients in different industries. Rushdi advises clients on registering and licensing in Bahrain and has good working relations with the local regulatory authorities.
