About the Green Frog Award
Deloitte Green Frog Award is an award for best sustainability reports. The contest aims to publicly recognize the quality of preparation and disclosure of non-financial information, draw the attention of stakeholders to the best practices of non-financial reporting and promote them.
The Green Frog Award was launched in 2009 in Hungary and now embraces all countries in Central Europe and the CIS. The Contest consists of two levels. The first National GFA level is held in countries where Deloitte CIS is present: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Ukraine. The winners of the National GFA level are automatically nominated to the Regional level covering all other Central European countries.
National GFA level
Reports will compete in the following nominations: The Best CIS Sustainability Report GFA Award and The Best CIS Integrated Report. Participation at the National level is obligatory in order to participate in the Contest at the Regional level. Additionally, Green Frog honorable mentions are to be awarded by the decision of the jury.
Regional GFA level
Winners of the National GFA level will be automatically nominated to the Regional level covering all other Central European countries. The following nominations will be available for participation: The Best CE and CIS Sustainability Report GFA Award and The Best CE and CIS Integrated Report.
Additionally, Green Frog honorable mentions are to be awarded at the Central European level. Entitles candidates are the reports that were included in a list of Green Frog honorable mentions at the National level.

GFA Timeline
National GFA level
- Application period: until October 26, 2018.
- National GFA Award Ceremony: November 15, 2018.
Regional GFA level
- Winners of the Regional GFA level announced: February 2019.
Participation conditions and Criteria
Reports will be assessed according to these criteria:
- Sustainability performance & strategic commitments
- Materiality
- Content
- Structure and creativity in communication (getting the message across)
- Impact measurement
- Financial and non-financial data integration
