Nicholas has 16 years’ experience within Deloitte across Australia, UK and SEA and is a leader in Deloitte’s Strategy & Operations practice. He specialises in leading and advising clients on complex business and IT improvement change from business model strategy, design, business case and implementation. Nicholas’s clients are in the TMT industry where they face continual disruption, having to build out new revenue models whilst in parallel optimising and streamlining their operations to remain profitable. As an example Nicholas advised the UK’s leading provider of broadband and fixed line services with revenues of c. £15b on streamlining their IT function. The function comprised of 14,000 onshore and offshore resources across product design, build, test and deploy function delivering c. £1bn worth of new or changes to products and services. Nicholas led the identification and shaping of initiatives to reduce their cost base by 25%. His clients include multinational organisations and regional clients such as Telstra, PCCW, Optus, Siemens ITS, Vodafone, BBC, News Ltd, British Telecom, Nortel, Ciena, Thomson Reuters, MCI WorldCom, Indosat, Telkomsel, HP, Symantec.
