Dear Clients, Colleagues and Partners,
2015 was special for us: Deloitte was celebrating 20 years of practice in Lithuania. On 28 April 1995, Deloitte & Touche established its first branch in the Baltics. A small office established two decades ago, serving local and international clients, today is a recognised audit and consulting company.
Innovation is part of our story. Advising our clients, we have always applied value-adding innovative ideas combined with up-to-date operational methodologies. Our team has worked consistently this whole time to achieve our fundamental goal – becoming the Standard of excellence in the market.
20 years of Deloitte practice in Lithuania was the time of intense professional activity, positive initiatives and exciting projects, all of which was accomplished together with our highly-valued former and current talents. It’s good to know that former Deloitte employees who started their professional career at Deloitte, later on continued their career as leaders of local and international private companies and public institutions. I truly believe that experience gained at Deloitte enabled them to achieve great success in their professional lives.
Currently, Deloitte Office in Lithuania employs around 100 enthusiastic and experienced professionals. I am proud of our active team full of creativity, professional drive, innovative ideas and determination to make them work. We truly appreciate the loyalty of our personnel; therefore, we are especially grateful to those colleagues whose professional activity at Deloitte lasts over 10 years.
I would like to thank all my colleagues who continue to work As One and put their best effort in making Deloitte a reliable, trusted and recognised consulting company.

Deloitte Lithuania History. Key Facts
On 28 April 1995, Deloitte & Touche established its branch in Vilnius. At that time, 14 employees worked in the Deloitte office (Didžioji st.), mainly audit and tax experts.
On 1 December 2000, Deloitte & Touche branch in Lithuania affiliated local audit company, J. Kabašinskas ir partneriai.
A new entity, Deloitte verslo konsultacijos UAB, was established in 2014. Main business areas include financial advisory, property and business assessment.

Our Social Activities
We strongly believe that the education and development of people is one of the key factors in Lithuanian economic, scientific and social development. Therefore, we strive to increase the cooperation between the business and academic sectors and help people excel.
As part of this responsibility to the community, we are a regular sponsor and participant of university events: workshops, career days and numerous other developmental initiatives.
Each year, we take part in the programme Student's Work Experience Week in cooperation with the School of Success. During the project, we give the opportunity to active and motivated high-school students to familiarise with the Deloitte work environment and operation of our departments and to witness daily challenges of our professionals. Thus, we aim to add to the effort of developing successful, active and responsible citizens in Lithuania by encouraging continuous democratic education.
We are the sponsor and partner of the national business plan competition, Verslauk!. The initiative encourages young people to implement their ideas and start up their businesses. The most outstanding participants win subsidies for their startups. We find it meaningful to be a part of it not only financially, but also to share our experience, advice and knowledge to build a new business and another Lithuanian success story.
Deloitte is the member of mentoring programme, LT Big Brother 2014, initiated by Global Lithuanian Leaders organisation. The Managing Partner of Deloitte Lietuva UAB is glad about the opportunity to see into the essence of mentoring and to apply its concept by encouraging youths' development, career planning and by advising on future choices of professional or academic path.
For over 10 years now, we are among the organisers of Būkime kartu event, the purpose of which is raising charity to children's foster homes and daycare centres.
We are also partners of the charitable initiative supporting children in economically and socially disadvantaged families, organised by the non-profit organisation, Pastebėk mane.
We cooperate with the international Catholic organisation, Caritas, supporting Vilnius All Saints Parish Temporary Child Care Home.
Deloitte sponsors Lithuanian students' art exhibition, Lost and Found: Young Art from Lithuania, taking place in Washington's Katzen Arts Center, where the works of the best students from Vilnius Academy of Arts (VAA) in Lithuania and American University will be exhibited throughout 25 April − 25 May 2015.
