Immigration & Labour Law changes in Lithuania

Please be kindly informed that there are significant changes in immigration regulation in Lithuania effective from 1 August.

Changes include:

• Lower salary requirements for EU Blue Card applicants;
• All Blue Card applicants are exempted from labour market testing;
• Alternative proofs of higher professional qualification;
• Alternative requirements for work permits/ordinary TRP applicants for work purposes;
• Preferred regime for foreigners who graduated in Lithuania in recent 10 years;
• Students are allowed to work full time, etc.
