Lize Griffiths joined Deloitte in 2002 and currently serves as partner REAL ESTATE SECTOR. Lize has extensive experience in leading audit & assurance engagements across a number of worldwide real estate entities (regulated and unregulated direct real estate funds and property companies) investing in a wide spectrum of real assets including office, retail, hotels, residential, medical and student housing.
Lize is a member of the Deloitte Global Real Estate Executive Committee.
Lize leads initiatives that impact the real estate industry and coordinates it between the various Deloitte Member firms in her role as Real Estate Sector leader of Deloitte Luxembourg and DCE.
She is also a board member of ALFI (Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry) and vice-chair of the ALFI Regulatory Advisory Board Lize holds a B.Accounting (Honours) degree from the University of Stellenbosch and audit certifications in Luxembourg (Reviseur d’Entreprise Agréée), Lize is also a fellow member of ACCA, an US Certified Public Accountant, as well as a South African Chartered Accountant.
Lize is fluent in English.
