Martin joined Deloitte in 1998, and currently serves as Audit & Assurance Partner on the Banking sector and he is the Audit & Assurance Banking Leader.
Martin has more than 25 years of professional experience as an auditor. He has focused on serving banking clients in the field of financial and regulatory audits. He is currently responsible for the statutory and consolidated audit of one of the major Luxembourg banks. Being one of the founding member of the Banking Union Center in Frankfurt, Martin has deployed his regulatory expertise not only in Luxembourg but also in other Eurozone countries. Martin leads the Accounting and Reporting Advisory offering thanks to his expertise in various accounting framework like IFRS, Luxembourg GAAP and EU Accounting Directive.
Martin is chairing the IRE Banking Commission and is active within the ABBL where he was a Board Member from 2012 to 2014.
He holds a Finance and Accounting degree from the European Business School and is a Réviseur d’Entreprises since 2000. He is fluent in French and English and has a good level in German.
