Bernard joined Deloitte in 1999 and currently serves as Head of Tax for the International Tax Corporate Department. Bernard has extensive experience implementing and managing tax-efficient international structures, specializing in the areas of global reorganizations, intellectual property migration and management, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Private Equity investments.   He has led a significant number of complex cross-border transactions involving listed corporations and targets. He has implemented group reorganizations in varied industries with substantial foreign jurisdiction considerations. His expertise covers global structuring transactions from inception to implementation and through to exit. He understands the needs of multinational clients in offering proactive support in a dynamic market.   He has extensive experience in assisting U.S. companies to successfully plan, develop and implement tax efficient strategies for their worldwide operations. Jacquou Martin, Partner, Investment Management Services, has an extensive experience in dealing with the investment fund industry. Those last years, he developed an expertise in Pan-European Tax Reporting and assisted different fund administrators in the parameterisation of fund accounting systems for tax figures. Today, he is responsible for the Tax Reporting department dealing with the compilation and the coordination of the certification for each Pan-European annual tax reporting for funds.

Christian has over sixteen years of international tax experience in the alternative investment industry. He provided tax advice to major multinational companies in different industries and alternative investment funds specializing in private equity, real estate, private debt and infrastructure. Christian was previously based in Miami and Houston where he has advised his clients on U.S. federal income tax matters in the private equity and real estate business. He is now leading the AIF tax reporting solution. He is a licensed CPA in Texas and Florida and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Partner | Financial Services Tax

Eric is an expert in Operational Taxes where he assists financial institutions on topics such as: Aberdeen Tax Reclaims: Filing of withholding tax reclaims on behalf of investment funds on the basis of the EU Court of Justice jurisprudence; Financial Transaction Taxes: implementation of developments in relation to the introduction of FTT. Eric has a sound experience in corporate tax advice for FS players including the monitoring of their tax position and assistance in group reorganization.

Dany is a partner within the tax department and has over 15 years of experience in international tax, with 3 years spent in the New York office of our U.S. Member Firm. Dany leads our M&A tax practice and is responsible for the Digital Transformation of our tax practice. He advises asset managers on a wide variety of international tax issues, including mergers and acquisitions, tax due diligence, global tax optimization, cross-border withholding taxes, tax compliance and assistance with tax considerations affecting regulated and non-regulated investment funds.

Yves has over 15 years' professional experience (including 3 years in Hong Kong). He is specialised in the AIF industry (real estate, private equity, etc.). He focus also on cross-border tax planning for Sovereign Wealth Funds, Asia-Pacific clients as well as Hospitality & Leisure businesses. He is also a co-leader of the Luxembourg Chinese Services Group. Yves advises clients on a wide variety of international tax issues, including M&A, transactional, financing, income repatriation, etc.
