Florence Buron
Florence is Partner at Deloitte Luxembourg and has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial sector in Belgium and Luxembourg, in the banking and life insurance sectors. Prior to joining Deloitte, Florence was Head of Investment Solutions at Lombard International Assurance for 12 years. Throughout her career, Florence has had the opportunity to implement new business models in banking and life insurance sectors, lead and deliver large implementation programs of asset management, reporting and investment monitoring systems. In particular, Florence is involved on topics such as Solvency II (pillar 1 and 3), PRIIPs, IDD and all Luxembourg regulations related to the management of unit-linked products (i.e. PEPP). In addition, Florence is also involved in ESG related topics (ie. SFDR). Florence is a graduate of the University of Liège and regularly participates in working groups within the ACA and club Ampere/EWG.
Julien Baguet
Since 2011, Julien has served in the Investment Management Service Line. Julien is part of the Deloitte’s multidisciplinary service line dedicated to Investment Management companies/sectors. During his professional career, he served multiple Asset Managers, helping them increase their operational efficiency in FX hedging, Swing Pricing, performance fees, Regulatory Reporting. Julien is also a member of ALFI and EFAMA on Swing Pricing, PRIIPs and MiFID II. Julien obtained his master degrees in Economy and Finance at HEC Liege and Katholiek Universiteit Leven. He is fluent in English and French.
