Catalyst Award for advancing women in leadership

Catalyst, a leading global NGO focused on accelerating progress for women through workplace inclusion, has named Deloitte one of its three 2020 award winners – and the only professional services provider on the list. Deloitte is committed to advancing a diverse workforce, while ensuring that all its people thrive in an inclusive culture where they feel a sense of belonging and can grow. Accelerating gender diversity in leadership is a global priority – with a relentless focus on inclusion and interventions targeted at certain points of the career lifecycle. This is perhaps best illustrated by Deloitte Australia’s Inspiring Women program, which identifies and removes barriers to equality in the employee experience. From 2015 to 2019, representation of women on Deloitte Australia’s executive team increased from 15% to 38% and the percentage of female partners increased from 22% to 30%. Universum Global Diversity & Inclusion Index

Deloitte has been recognized as one of the world’s most diverse and inclusive employers in Universum’s first Global Diversity & Inclusion Index. The index is based on the responses of over 247,000 Business and STEM students worldwide and is calculated by measuring companies that are perceived as the most associated with the following attributes – support for gender equality, commitment to diversity and inclusion, and respect for its people.

Universum World’s Most Attractive Employers (Global)

Each year, Universum unveils the list of the World’s Most Attractive Employers (WMAE), delving into what candidates are hoping to see from a workplace. In order to be considered, a company must rank in the top 90% of employers within at least six of the 12 largest economies in the world, weighted by GDP. See how Deloitte currently ranks.

Brand Finance Commercial Services 50 (Global)

Brand Finance, the world’s leading independent brand valuation and strategy consultancy, recently recognized Deloitte as the world’s most valuable and strongest commercial services brand, noting a dramatic increase in Deloitte’s brand value up 42% to US$29.7 billion. For the first time in 10 years, Deloitte has overtaken PwC which previously held the top spot. Additionally, Deloitte also sector’s strongest brand, with BSI score 91.24 out of 100 and elite AAA+ brand strength rating. 

Glassdoor Best Places to Work” (Global)

Glassdoor is one of the largest and fastest growing company review and job sites in the world today, with a growing database of millions of company reviews, CEO approval ratings, salary reports, interview reviews, etc. for more than 700,000 companies in over 190 countries. Unlike many other sites, all of this information is entirely shared by those who know a company best — the employees. See how Deloitte currently ranks.

Workplace Pride 2019 Advocates

Of the 38 organizations that participated in the 2019 Global Benchmark, Deloitte has the score of 85.6% that places us in the Top Tier (upper third) of scoring participants and earns you recognition as Workplace Pride Advocate. The result indicates that we have made enormous progress.

SuperDrecksKëscht

In 2010, Deloitte was awarded with the SuperDrecksKëscht Label in recognition of the significant waste management programme put in place, which has been followed by all of you.

SuperDrecksKëscht was developed as part of the State of Luxembourg waste management strategy and follows the recommendations of the European Commission on sustainable materials management and consumption. It recognises the quality and the environmentally friendly nature of our waste management.

Entreprise Socialement Responsable

Deloitte Luxembourg has recently received the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) accreditation from the INDR (Institut National pour le Développement Durable et la Responsabilité Sociale des Entreprises).

The INDR, presided by Michel Wurth, president of the UEL (Union des Entreprises Luxembourgeois), helps companies to integrate their economic, social, societal and environmental objectives to create a socially responsible work environment.

It is one of the rare recognitions in the world which provides a global accreditation to organisations on CSR.
In order to receive the INDR accreditation, organisations need to submit a candidature to INDR Certified Experts, presenting their CSR projects and fulfill the three main criteria of the INDR:

  • Social and professional chance equity, focusing on improving the health and work environment security, work/life balance, etc. 
  • Governance, which is focused on aspects such as the transparency within the organisation 
  • Environment, targeting the recycling possibilities of the firm, the reduction of energy consumption, renewable energies, etc.

Plan d’Actions Positives

The "Plan d’Actions Positives" accreditation, awarded by the Luxembourg Ministry of Equal Opportunities, covers a set of measures seeking to establish equality between women and men at all stages of working life and under all conditions (such as recruitment, remuneration, training, etc.) and also throughout the whole company from top to bottom.

Prix Santé en Entreprise

In March 2012, Deloitte Luxembourg was awarded with the "Prix Santé en Entreprise" by the Luxembourg Ministry of Health. This award recognises the quality and relevance of all our CSR projects and initiatives put in place over the years with your help, not only to take care of your physical but also your psychological health.

The challenges of health and corporate social responsibility are permanently ongoing. There will be many hurdles lying in wait and we will strive to overcome them all. The "Prix Santé en Entreprise" is both a recognition of the way we care for our employees and an incentive to maintain the high levels we have set.
