John Psaila

Partner - Managing Partner

John started at Deloitte as a junior in 1995 and has been loyal to the Deloitte brand ever since. He has worked as an auditor for three different Deloitte member firms, and been exposed to a broad portfolio of clients that are diverse both from an industry as well as from a cultural perspective. John is specialized in group audits of commercial and industrial companies, and a reference when it comes to the framework governing the operation of public companies in Luxembourg. John joined Deloitte’s Luxembourg firm in 2001 and was appointed to Partner in 2008. In 2015, he was further promoted to the firm’s Executive Committee, and he acted as Deloitte Luxembourg’s Reputation & Risk Leader until he was elected as the firm’s next Managing Partner in October 2017 at the age of 39.

Originally from Malta, John is a fellow of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a member of the Luxembourg Institute of Auditors, and an Authorized Statutory Auditor (réviseur d'entreprises agréé) in Luxembourg.

Christiane Chadoeuf

Partner - Audit Business Leader

Christiane is a partner within the audit department and has over 19 years of experience in external auditing. Since joining the firm, she has gained extensive experience working on a diverse portfolio of audit engagements within the financial services industry and is now specialised in the private equity and real estate industries. Christiane is a registered auditor (Réviseur d’entreprises agréé). Christiane has a degree from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce et de Management (Tours, France).

Benjamin Collette

Partner - Strategy, Clients & Industries Leader

Benjamin is an Advisory & Consulting Partner. He is specialised in Strategy and Operations set-up and efficiency engagements.

He leads the Strategy, the Corporate Finance and the Regulatory Practices of Deloitte Luxembourg and coordinates our consulting offerings towards the Financial Services Industry.

He services leading actors in Asset Management and Services, Global Custody and Banking for traditional and alternative assets as well as Wealth Managers.

Partner - Cross-Border Relations Leader

Bernard is a partner within the international tax department. He is in charge of an international tax group focused on multinationals (mainly U.S.-based clients) investing in Europe.

Bernard serves large international and multinational companies for group restructurings.

He was part of the International Core of Excellence (ICE)/Luxembourg desk in Deloitte Tax LLP's New York office on a two-year assignment.

Vincent Gouverneur

Partner - Managed Services and Transformation Leader

Vincent is a partner within the advisory and consulting department and also leads the clients and markets initiative as well as all services relating to the investment management industry in the Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) region.

He has 20 years of experience in dealing with pan-European distributed funds. Vincent is responsible for the coordination of our EMEA investment management practices and sponsors many initiatives ensuring consistency of approach and leveraging our network capabilities to best serve our international clients. He is the Luxembourg financial services industry leader covering consulting, audit and tax services.

Raymond Krawczykowski

Partner - Tax Business Leader

Raymond is partner and leader of the tax department since June 2012. He has over 15 years of tax experience. He is focusing on merger and acquisition transactions, as well as alternative investment funds. He leads Deloitte Luxembourg's private equity practice.

Raymond is a member of the Luxembourg investment fund association (ALFI)’s private equity and venture capital working group, Islamic finance qualification, Luxembourg tax accountant and member of the Luxembourg institute of chartered accountants (OEC).

Patrick Laurent

Partner - Technology & Innovation Leader

Patrick is Deloitte Luxembourg’s Technology & Innovation Leader. He joined Deloitte as Partner in 2011 and was promoted to the firm’s Executive Committee in 2018. Patrick specializes in IT Strategy, Core System Transformation and Outsourcing. Throughout his career, Patrick has had the opportunity to implement new banking operating models and deliver large transformation programs. Over the past years, Patrick has acquired in-depth expertise in FinTech and Blockchain, and developed and explored different use cases.
As a seasoned consultant with a broad range of clients, Patrick has developed a comprehensive expertise in the financial services industry, with a particular focus on wealth and investment management, retail banking, multi-channel architecture, banking operations, Enterprise Architecture and new sourcing models (SaaS/BPO).

Patrick is recognized for his technical expertise within the Deloitte network of member firms and he has been appointed as EMEA FS Technology Leader, and furthermore takes part in Deloitte Global FS Technology leadership meetings.

Jerome Lecoq

Partner - Risk and Reputation Leader

Jérôme is a partner within the audit department and has 10 years' experience in the financial services, insurance and reinsurance industries in Luxembourg. He has been working on both statutory audits and international audit assignments (IFRS and local GAAP), as well as due diligence and other ad-hoc service assignments for insurers and reinsurers. He represents the Luxembourg firm within local and international insurance taskforces and other expert groups within the industry.

Sophie Mitchell

Partner - Operations Leader

Sophie is Deloitte Luxembourg’s Operations Leader and responsible for the firm’s internal operations, including the move of the firm’s 2,300 professionals to Deloitte Luxembourg’s new premises.

Originally from France, Sophie started her career at the Deloitte Paris office in 1991 and joined Deloitte Luxembourg four years later. She became a partner in 2003 and was further appointed to the firm’s Executive Committee in 2010. Sophie led Deloitte Luxembourg’s audit practice from 2011 to 2018, when she assumed the role as the firm’s Operations Leader.
Sophie is an auditor and a "Réviseur d'Entreprises Agréé" in Luxembourg. She specializes in group audits of listed and non-listed companies, with a particular focus on private equity and real estate entities. Sophie has in-depth expertise of consolidated accounts in accordance with Lux GAAP and IFRS.

Over the years, Sophie has led several internal initiatives at Deloitte, such as the Quality & Excellence initiative and initiatives promoting gender balance.
Moreover, Sophie has previously lectured on the topic of consolidation at the Institut Commercial de Nancy, France, and at the University of Luxembourg.

Partner - Talent Leader

Stephan is a partner within the tax department and specialises in international tax and transfer pricing. He has over 11 years' experience serving corporate investors, mainly U.S.-based MNCs on cross-border restructuring and working on various international corporate tax matters and related Luxembourg transfer pricing considerations.

Joël Vanoverschelde

Partner - ACG Business Leader

Joël is partner and leader of the advisory and consulting department since June 2013 with over 17 years of experience in consulting. He is an expert in programme management, project management and development based on new technologies, as well as migration and integration on such technologies.

For 10 years, Joël has also been leading the information technology practice for Deloitte Luxembourg. In addition, he has built up extensive expertise in setting up, leading and ensuring the delivery of very large business transformation processes with a strong IT dimension and involvement. This specific expertise has been developed mainly for large financial institutions in Luxembourg and Belgium.
