John Psaila

Partner - Managing Partner

John started at Deloitte as a junior in 1995 and has been loyal to the Deloitte brand ever since. He has worked as an auditor for three different Deloitte member firms, and been exposed to a broad portfolio of clients that are diverse both from an industry as well as from a cultural perspective. John is specialized in group audits of commercial and industrial companies, and a reference when it comes to the framework governing the operation of public companies in Luxembourg. John joined Deloitte’s Luxembourg firm in 2001 and was appointed to Partner in 2008. In 2015, he was further promoted to the firm’s Executive Committee, and he acted as Deloitte Luxembourg’s Reputation & Risk Leader until he was elected as the firm’s next Managing Partner in October 2017 at the age of 39.

Originally from Malta, John is a fellow of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a member of the Luxembourg Institute of Auditors, and an Authorized Statutory Auditor (réviseur d'entreprises agréé) in Luxembourg.

Christiane Chadoeuf

Partner - Audit Business Leader

Christiane is the Audit & Assurance Business Leader at Deloitte Luxembourg.

Originally from France, Christiane started her career at the Deloitte Paris office in 1997, before she broadened her skillset at Deloitte’s Madrid office. Christiane joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2005 and became Partner five years later. In 2018, Christiane was further appointed to Deloitte Luxembourg’s Executive Committee and she took over the leadership of the firm’s important audit practice.

Christiane is an experienced auditor and a "Réviseur d'Entreprises Agréé" in Luxembourg. Throughout her career, she has gained significant audit experience working on a diverse portfolio of client engagements within the financial services industry, specializing in the commercial, real estate and private equity industries. Christiane has led a number of complex engagements involving consolidated financial statements within an international context.

A role model of the firm’s stated values of integrity and respect, Christiane acted as the firm’s Chief Ethics Officer for several years.

Bernard David

Benjamin Collette

Partner - Strategy, Clients & Industries Leader

Benjamin currently serves as Deloitte Luxembourg’s Strategy, Clients & Industries Leader and he is the firm’s Financial Services Industry Leader.

In addition to his firm-wide roles, Benjamin leads the Strategy, Regulatory and Corporate Finance department within the firm’s Advisory & Consulting practice, and he coordinates the firm’s service offerings towards the Financial Services Industry. Over the years, Benjamin has served an array of leading market players active within asset management, wealth management, global custody and banking, and he masters both traditional and alternative assets.

Benjamin specializes in management consulting with a focus on strategy and operations. In the course of his career, he has acquired in-depth expertise within target operating model definition, technical platform and software selection, due diligence, and strategy definition for business growth and product management.

Originally from Belgium, Benjamin joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2006 and was appointed to partner three years later. He was further appointed to the firm’s Executive Committee in 2015 and after acting as Talent & Innovation Leader for three years, he assumed the responsibilities as the firm’s Strategy, Clients & Industries Leader in 2018.

Bernard David

Partner - Cross-Border Relations Leader

Bernard is a partner within the international tax department. He is in charge of an international tax group focused on multinationals (mainly U.S.-based clients) investing in Europe.

Bernard serves large international and multinational companies for group restructurings.

He was part of the International Core of Excellence (ICE)/Luxembourg desk in Deloitte Tax LLP's New York office on a two-year assignment.

Vincent Gouverneur

Partner - Managed Services and Transformation Leader

Vincent is a partner within the advisory and consulting department and also leads the clients and markets initiative as well as all services relating to the investment management industry in the Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) region.

He has 20 years of experience in dealing with pan-European distributed funds. Vincent is responsible for the coordination of our EMEA investment management practices and sponsors many initiatives ensuring consistency of approach and leveraging our network capabilities to best serve our international clients. He is the Luxembourg financial services industry leader covering consulting, audit and tax services.

Raymond Krawczykowski

Partner - Tax Business Leader

Raymond is partner and leader of the tax department since June 2012. He has over 15 years of tax experience. He is focusing on merger and acquisition transactions, as well as alternative investment funds. He leads Deloitte Luxembourg's private equity practice.

Raymond is a member of the Luxembourg investment fund association (ALFI)’s private equity and venture capital working group, Islamic finance qualification, Luxembourg tax accountant and member of the Luxembourg institute of chartered accountants (OEC).

Patrick Laurent

Partner - Technology & Innovation Leader

Patrick is Deloitte Luxembourg’s Technology & Innovation Leader. He joined Deloitte as Partner in 2011 and was promoted to the firm’s Executive Committee in 2018. Patrick specializes in IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Business and Digital transformation. Throughout his career, Patrick has had the opportunity to implement new banking operating models and deliver large transformation programs. Over the past years, Patrick has acquired in-depth expertise in FinTech and Blockchain, and developed and explored different use cases.
As a seasoned consultant with a broad range of clients, Patrick has developed a comprehensive expertise in the financial services industry, with a particular focus on wealth and investment management, retail banking and operations.

Patrick is recognized for his technical expertise within the Deloitte network of member firms and he has been appointed as EMEA FS Technology Leader, and is furthermore in charge of core technology within the Deloitte Global FS Technology leadership.

Jerome Lecoq

Partner - Reputation and Risk Leader - Insurance Audit Industry Leader

Jérôme is Deloitte Luxembourg’s Reputation and Risk Leader and has been a partner within the firm’s audit department since 2011.

Over the course of his career, Jérôme has acquired in-depth expertise in financial services, with a specific focus on the insurance sector in Luxembourg. He has experience from both statutory audits and international audit assignments, as well as due diligence and other ad-hoc service assignments in the insurance industry. For a number of years, Jérôme has represented Deloitte Luxembourg in local and international expert groups within the insurance industry.

Originally from Belgium, Jérôme joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2001. He was appointed to the firm’s Executive Committee in 2018 and assumed the responsibilities as the firm’s Reputation and Risk Leader.

Sophie Mitchell

Partner - Operations Leader

Sophie is Deloitte Luxembourg’s Operations Leader and responsible for the firm’s internal operations, including the move of the firm’s 2,300 professionals to Deloitte Luxembourg’s new premises.

Originally from France, Sophie started her career at the Deloitte Paris office in 1991 and joined Deloitte Luxembourg four years later. She became a partner in 2003 and was further appointed to the firm’s Executive Committee in 2010. Sophie led Deloitte Luxembourg’s audit practice from 2011 to 2018, when she assumed the role as the firm’s Operations Leader.
Sophie is an auditor and a "Réviseur d'Entreprises Agréé" in Luxembourg. She specializes in group audits of listed and non-listed companies, with a particular focus on private equity and real estate entities. Sophie has in-depth expertise of consolidated accounts in accordance with Lux GAAP and IFRS.

Over the years, Sophie has led several internal initiatives at Deloitte, such as the Quality & Excellence initiative and initiatives promoting gender balance.
Moreover, Sophie has previously lectured on the topic of consolidation at the Institut Commercial de Nancy, France, and at the University of Luxembourg.

Stephan Tilquin

Partner - Talent Leader - Transfer Pricing Leader

Stephan currently serves as Deloitte Luxembourg’s firm-wide Talent Leader and he leads the Transfer Pricing department within the firm’s tax practice.

Stephan specializes in international tax and transfer pricing. Over the years, he has served an array of corporate investors, and especially U.S.-based multi-national companies, on cross-border restructuring, and he has acquired in-depth expertise within the field of international corporate tax matters and related Luxembourg transfer pricing considerations.

In 2018, Stephan was appointed to the firm’s Executive Committee and he accepted the role as Deloitte Luxembourg’s firm-wide Talent Leader next to his role as Transfer Pricing Leader.

Originally from Belgium, Stephan joined Deloitte Luxembourg in 2000 and was appointed to partner in 2011. He was seconded to New York for a 2-year period in 2008, where he was leading the firm’s Luxembourg Desk. Stephan is furthermore a chartered accountant in Luxembourg.

Joël Vanoverschelde

Partner - ACG Business Leader

Joël is partner and leader of the advisory and consulting department since June 2013 with over 17 years of experience in consulting. He is an expert in programme management, project management and development based on new technologies, as well as migration and integration on such technologies.

For 10 years, Joël has also been leading the information technology practice for Deloitte Luxembourg. In addition, he has built up extensive expertise in setting up, leading and ensuring the delivery of very large business transformation processes with a strong IT dimension and involvement. This specific expertise has been developed mainly for large financial institutions in Luxembourg and Belgium.
