2022 Luxembourg Impact Report
We all have a responsibility to take action to mitigate our carbon footprint. At Deloitte, we know this is true for us as a Firm and for our professionals as individuals committed to leave a more sustainable world for the next generation.
Deloitte has committed to science-based net-zero with 2030 goals.
Our near-term goals are to:
- Reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 70% by 2030 from a 2019 base year, including
- Converting 100% of our fleet to hybrid and electric vehicles by FY2030
- Sourcing 100% renewable energy for our buildings
- Reduce Scope 3 GHG emissions from business travel 50% per FTE by 2030 from a 2019 base year
- Engaging with our major suppliers with the goal of having two thirds of them (by emissions) adopt science-based targets by 2025
- Investing in meaningful market solutions for emissions we cannot eliminate
With these important goals in mind, we continuously adapt our behaviors to limit our carbon footprint where possible and encourage our people to take action personally and in their community to contribute to those efforts.
For emissions that we cannot reduce, we have a carbon offsetting strategy to help us meet our climate goals.
