Netherlands - The Dutch Tax Plan 2017 – Presentation to the House of Representatives

On 20 September 2016, the Dutch government released its 2017 budget, which contains the 2017 Tax Plan, including amendments to the Dutch tax law.

The Tax Plan includes the following bills :

  • 2017 Tax Plan
  • Other 2017 tax measures
  • 2017 Tax Simplification Act
  • Phase-out Self-administered Pension and Other Pension Measures for Tax Purposes Act
  • Tax Measures on Nationally Listed Buildings and Education Act
  • Temporarily Reducing the Rate for Charging Stations with a Separate Connection Act

Most measures of the Dutch Tax Plan will enter into force as of 1 January 2017 and contain legislative proposals referring to wage and income tax, corporate income tax dividend withholding tax, gift and inheritance tax, VAT, car taxes, environmental taxes, European and international tax law, and procedural tax law.
