Digital disruption of financial services in Luxembourg

How are Fintech companies changing the financial services landscape in Luxembourg? How is digital disruption affecting organizations? And how well are leaders responding to minimize the threats and maximize the opportunities presented by this change? These are the kind of questions that leaders need to ask themselves in order to keep pace with the rapid evolution.

The Deloitte Digital Series conferences aim at answering these questions by providing an overview of the coming digital disruption in the Luxembourgish financial services landscape.

They are composed of the following conferences:

2017 Deloitte Digital Series Conferences

Artificial Intelligence

Our second conference in 2017 focused on the impact of artificial intelligence on businesses and the financial services industry, as well as on the opportunities that derive from it. The event featured hands-on showcases by pioneering start-ups and demonstrations of current application of artificial intelligence.

Mobile Innovation - From predictions to reality

This year’s TMT Predictions 2017 has been merged with our fourth Deloitte Digital Series Conference. The event featured high-profile speakers and pioneering start-ups as well as Deloitte’s Global TMT expert and TMT Predictions co-author, Paul Lee.

Mobile devices and applications are having a meaningful impact on both our personal and professional activities, and are even reshaping traditional businesses. As such, mobile technologies are an important vector of the digital disruption. This conference addressed multiple facets of mobile application development and usage, from opportunities to threats.

Financial Technology (Fintech) companies give impulsion to digital transformation

Just a decade ago the world was quite a different place to live and to do business. Many organizations we take for granted today were in their infancy, or still ideas in the heads of very innovative people. As digitalization is taking place in all areas of business and life, transforming services, and creating new ones accelerated by new Fintech companies in all areas of the world, organizations are adapting to this new reality. Sometimes with ease, at times with elegance, but almost every time with a large portion of fundamental change involved.

Luxembourg is no exception. The digital changes are sweeping over every business and organization, at times with severe consequences. Luxembourg has not been at the forefront of this wave of digitalization, but firms and organizations are now finding themselves facing a new reality.

The Deloitte Digital Series conferences propose an overview of the main current digital trends that are revolutionizing the Financial Services Industry.
