Andreas Meier is Audit Leader Real Estate with more than 21 years of experience in the Financial and Non Financial Service industry, servicing Private Equity, Real Estate, Investment Management and Commercial clients in an audit and advisory capability in Luxembourg.
As German Business Community Leader of Deloitte Luxembourg, his focus is to enhance the cooperation with German-speaking market players in Luxembourg and become their preferred service provider in audit, tax, and consulting. The German Business Community (“GBC” in short) offers a multidisciplinary range of services, an increased cross-border cooperation, and targeted investments in innovative services, consistently adapting to the needs and challenges of German-speaking clients.
Andreas is a qualified Luxembourg Réviseur d’entreprises agréé, German Wirtschaftsprüfer and Luxembourg Expert Comptable.
He specialises in real estate (regulated and unregulated direct real estate funds and property companies), debt funds, infrastructure funds, private equity and investment holding companies and is in charge of the audits of vehicles/funds, which are owned and/or managed by a number of real estate developers, real estate and private equity asset managers and sovereign wealth funds.
He is experienced in assurance reports for specific transactions (contribution in kind, interim dividends, liquidation reports), the performance of specific procedures in relation to compliance certificates and compliance with real estate best practices (i.e. INREV best practices) and the performance of financial due diligences.
Andreas is Board Member of Lux Real, a co-chair of the ALFI real estate fund financial framework-working group and the INREV Debt Fund Focus Group.
