Justin Morel De Westgaver

Justin is a Partner in Corporate Finance Advisory within Deloitte Luxembourg, where he leads projects in the financial services industry primarily in the Banking, Wealth Management and Corporate & Fund Services sectors.

Justin focuses on helping our Banking, Wealth Management and Corporate & Fund Services clients on issues of M&A, corporate strategy, organization strategy, business and financial planning, as well as performance management.

Justin has extensive experience in buy-side and sell-side M&A advisory, commercial and financial due diligence, valuation and credit rating. He has also been working for the CFO Advisory department of Deloitte where he successfully delivered projects in the fields of financial modelling (LBO, business plan, scenario-based analysis, etc.), financial performance management and business unit reorganization/restructuring

Prior to joining Deloitte, Justin worked as a management consultant for Accenture in Luxembourg during 2 years. He has been involved in a variety of engagements in the field of IT strategy and IT transformation project delivery. His main focus was geared towards financial sector clients.

His thesis at the university consisted in developing a consistent mathematical framework for the pricing of longevity derivatives such as q-forwards, q-swaps and related options. These derivatives were meant to provide efficient hedging solutions against the longevity risk for both pension funds and life insurers.
