Our interns don't sit in the back room

They work with client service teams on real business problems. Our internship program is designed to provide undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to experience what it’s like to work in professional services as they take on roles similar to those of a full-time campus hire.

Internships with Deloitte take many forms. In summer, the internship lasts 8 to 10 weeks, and during the school year, they typically last from 12 weeks up to a semester. Our interns work as part of a client service team in one of our businesses service lines: Audit, Financial Advisory, Consulting, Data Analytics, Tax, Transferpricing or Legal.


Client work

Throughout the course of the internship, interns are assigned to one or more client projects where they are responsible for a particular part of a client deliverable(s). Through interactions with the project team, interns will receive mentorship and support to help their success on the engagement. Therefore, the interns will be able to understand what a career with Deloitte is like. 

Mentorship and Professional Development

Each intern is assigned a mentorship team, including a counselor, to help offer guidance throughout the experience.  The counselor, typically a manager or senior manager, offers career guidance and feedback throughout the course of the internship. The counselor is also the main advisor who answer questions and offer insight into how to make the most of the internship experience.

Additional mentors, both formal and informal, are often typically identified during the internship.  These mentor relationships typically carry over into the future and offer a great way to stay connected to Deloitte while back at school.

There will be an evaluation processes throughout the internship. Some interns could receive a full-time offer at the conclusion of the internship program.

We look for candidates who successfully manage strong academics with extracurricular activities. We are looking for leaders, and we will help you turn your leadership skills into valued contributions. Qualifications and selection process varies based on the specific program you are applying to.
