In Deloitte Cloud Data Engineering Academy, you will be exposed to the world of data engineering! Learn basic concepts of data, get an overview of the various tools data engineers use and expand your understanding of how cloud technology plays a role in data engineering. With ETL, you will learn how to extract raw data from various sources, transform this raw data into actionable insights, and load it into relevant databases ready for consumption. There is a high demand and a lot of big companies like LG Electronics, LinkedIn, Adobe, Intel etc. that are already using Azure cloud Platform. In our course we will be focusing mainly on Azure Cloud provider services. You will get hands-on experience with the most popular and trending technologies for Data Engineers.

 

6 week courses will cover the following topics:

✔️ Introduction to Data Engineering basic concepts (Clusters, Data, SQL, ETL, Storage)
✔️ Spark Framework basics
✔️ Data warehouse and Data Lake concepts
✔️ Azure Data Factory
✔️ Azure Databricks
✔️ Azure Synapse

Candidate requirements:

✔️Basic scripting or any programming language skills (preferably pyhon or scala)
✔️Unused Azure Cloud free personal trial version

The Course starts on 09.07.2022 with the following plan:

1. Lecture for 1,5 h once a week
2. Homework & reading (estimated time spent around 8-10 hours a week)
3. Comments and feedback on the homework for better progression & practical knowledge gain

After the completion of the course, we offer employment to the best students as Cloud Data Engineers and you gain knowledge to be able to change your career to Cloud Data Engineer.
