European survey of students and graduates
First Steps into the Labour Market is an international survey focusing on the labour market as seen through the eyes of students and recent graduates of universities and professional schools from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.
First Steps into the Labour Market report considers our region’s future business leaders – the ambitious and hard-working young people who are already proving themselves at Europe’s best universities and professional schools to be at the forefront of their generation. Evidence gathered over the years shows that high-achieving students create successful careers later on, often in senior management and leadership positions. The questions we asked them in our survey covered many areas relating to their career expectations – and their answers were frequently fascinating and unexpected.
The report, scheduled for publication in spring of 2021, will summarize respondents’ values and attitudes towards concepts of ‘career’ and ‘work’ as well as their perception of the university they attend.
