Deloitte Greenhouse collaborates with Toll Group
Achieving growth in ASEAN
In collaboration with the Toll Group, our Greenhouse team conducted its first multi-client logistics innovation lab at the Singapore office for 20 representatives from various Japanese companies who have strong interests in investing in Southeast Asia. Held on 22 April, the session focused on helping these Japanese companies explore logistics challenges and opportunities that must be skillfully managed to maximise returns on investment and achieve greater growth in the ASEAN region.
The lab came to fruition after a month-long collaborative effort between the Toll Group and Deloitte involving Chris Pearce (Toll Global Logistics CEO), Vincent Phang (ST Logistics CEO), Walter Kuijpers (Singapore Supply Chain Consulting Leader), Bob Fletcher (Singapore Tax Director) and the Deloitte Greenhouse team.
The participants went through a series of highly engaging discussions where they examined how they can improve logistics productivity and capitalise on customs and trade opportunities. They also gained insights on leveraging logistic service providers for better returns. The session ended with a panel discussion and a Q&A session which comprised Toll Group’s senior executives and Deloitte specialists who provided additional perspectives on the various subject matters.
It was an engaging session and the clients gave very positive feedback and commented that it was a rewarding knowledge brokering session. This initiative has helped us to build on the strong working relationship with some our biggest clients in the logistics industry and also opened doors to future collaboration with other companies.
