Deloitte Mongolia conducted a Workshop in Planning and Market Volatility named “The Guide to Anticipate and Master Volatility” on the last Thursday, 19th June, 2014 at the Crystal hall of the Blue Sky Tower.
The workshop was gratuitously organized by Deloitte Mongolia collaborating with Deloitte Netherlands involving COOs, Supply Chain Directors, CFOs and Managing Directors/CEOs of TOP Mongolian domestic companies which operate broadly in manufacturing, consumer products, beverage, pharmaceuticals, retail & wholesale, service, electronics and mining industries.
A purpose of this workshop was mainly focused on Sales and Operational Planning methods in order to leverage our clients’ business operation compelling - lower operating costs, reduced inventory requirements, and top-line growth, and gaining competitive advantage as S&OP is an integrated business management process through which the executive/leadership team continually achieves focus, alignment and synchronization among all functions of the organization. The S&OP planning includes an updated forecast that leads to a sales plan, production plan, inventory plan, customer lead time (backlog) plan, new product development plan, strategic initiative plan and resulting financial plan.
