Deloitte Malta volunteers show strong support for the Reverse Advent Calendar

Press release

19 January 2019, Malta - Deloitte Malta volunteers pulled together throughout December 2018 to help the less fortunate, by supporting the Foodbank Lifeline Foundation’s Reverse Advent Calendar initiative.

Over 75 boxes of food were donated to the Foodbank Lifeline Foundation which will go towards providing non-perishable emergency 7-day food packs to individuals, couples or families who are struggling to find money for food.

Boxes were given to each volunteer with printed guidelines of how to fill the box throughout December, resulting in 24 items of non-perishable goods per box such as tinned fish, meat, vegetables and fruit along with pasta, rice, sugar, tea and other staple items needed to make up a nutritionally balanced pack.

Deloitte Malta is committed to driving societal change and promoting environmental sustainability and is always seeking to work in innovative ways with government, non-profit organisations, and civil society, to design and deliver solutions that contribute to a sustainable and prosperous future for all.
