Roberto graduated as public accountant and completed a Masters Degree in Tax Analysis at the Universidad de Guadalajara. In 2012, Roberto completed a Masters Degree in International Taxation at the University of Leiden, in The Netherlands.
Roberto gained experience in tax compliance and tax advisory for international clients in Mexico, as well as being part of the in-house US tax compliance team of a Fortune 100 company.
After graduating at the University of Leiden, Roberto joined Deloitte Malta in the field of international taxation, in reference to cross border transactions, investments and reorganisations. This includes tax planning solutions for different types of companies with regards to financing, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, business model optimisation and supply chain restructuring.
