IT Network Administrator (Reference: INIT0322)
Work you will do:
Performing network administration and analysing and fixing network faults
- Managing day-to-day administration and monitoring of network utilisation and uptime
- Conducting configuration backup of routers and switches
- Maintaining inventory of LAN and WAN infrastructure
- Analysing vulnerability reports and applying measures to close the vulnerabilities
- Following ITIL standards and processes
- Collaborating with IT teams, vendors, and global teams
- Documenting network processes and diagrams
- Planning and execution of new network projects and new initiatives
Skills and qualification
- Networking certification like CCNA/CCNP
- Engineer or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or similar
- At least three to four years' experience in network management and support
- In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, architecture, connectivity, and security
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Good hands-on experience on Cisco routing/switching/wireless/network security
- Knowledge of network solutioning and designing will be preferred
- Knowledge of integration with NPS and other Microsoft technologies
IT support analyst (Reference: ISIT0322)
Key responsibilities
- Assist system administrators to perform daily system monitoring and changes, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs
- Assist system administrators to install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance upgrades
- Provide escalation support from the help desk for local issues, including more complex or longer-term problems and incidents
- Offer field assistance to users with technical needs (break/fix and requests)
- Follow established practices and standards for system configurations, naming conventions, and other established procedures
- Assist in auditing, monitoring, and continuous improvements of IT processes
- Train end-users to facilitate the future state of self-service processes and technology
- Respond to, document, and resolve service tickets in a timely manner, according to SLA
- Assist the system administrators with hardware and software deployments, and work on request fulfilment and other project implementations for all infrastructure related technologies
About you
- BSc in computer science, or any other relevant IT qualification
- Relevant IT experience of two to three, or more years in a professional services environment
- Familiarity with, or experience in troubleshooting LAN hardware/software, desktop devices and end user applications on mid-range systems, cloud, and mobile devices
- Thorough understanding of core infrastructure and networking, including but not limited to: Windows server, virtualisation, LAN/WAN, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, IIS, VPN and wireless
- Proven ability to learn and pick up new technologies quickly
- Highly organised, with a strong, proactive work ethic, and sense of responsibility in managing a full workload of multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- High-energy personality who can work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, effective problem solver, and troubleshooter
- Ability to work odd hours to meet aggressive deadlines
- Self-motivated, with the ability to take ownership
- A team player with excellent customer service skills
- A+, Network+, MCSA/MCSE, or relevant experience will be a definite advantage
