U@Deloitte is a wellness program designed to achieve better work-life harmonization for our employees. This approach of integrating work and social activities include the following initiatives below.
Work@Deloitte: focuses on helping our staff meet their personal and professional commitments through a number of programs including the work from home scheme, flexible working hours, reduced work portfolio scheme, flexible maternity leave scheme and a family group support.
Eatz@Deloitte: In conjunction with ‘Eat With Your Family Day’, Deloitte employees are granted early leave from work to eat dinner with their families.
Compete@Deloitte: An inter-departmental Olympic style competition spanning across two months, where different departments battle it out across different sports to win gold.
Kidz@Deloitte: This initiative is part of a series of family oriented days organized to help our employees strike a balance between work and family. Our employees are invited to bring their children to work to help the little ones understand where their parents work and learn more about what their parents do.
Play@Deloitte: This initiative encourages participation through sports activities, such as ISCA games where we compete with the other Big Four Accountancy firms in a variety of sports.
Run@Deloitte: As part of Deloitte’s ongoing commitment to supporting a healthy lifestyle in the firm, Deloitte participated in the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge this year with the largest turnout of 892 runners, winning us the ‘Largest Participation Award’!
Deloitte Recreational Club
The “Rec Club” was established so that the employees of the firm can play an active role in organizing exciting and entertaining social and sports activities for the entire firm as well as their friends and families. Throughout the year, members enjoy special events and discounts exclusively available to them. We organize corporate roadshows where companies including the biggest banks, telecommunication companies and major shopping brands come in and offer special discounts in our office – enabling you to enjoy the benefits of working for one of the biggest firms in Singapore.
Some of our highlights in 2014 include:
- The annual Carnival@Deloitte staff party took place at *SCAPE Singapore with close to 1,200 Deloitte Singapore staff and families turning up! This year’s Carnival also featured Bossaball, exclusive Lasertag Challenge, special Hip Hop dance performance and Flash Mob by the interns, and many other fun-filled activities along with free food and drinks. It was the largest party ever held by Deloitte, beating past years’ crowd to achieve a record-breaking turnout!
- Along with other accountancy firms in Singapore, Deloitte takes part in the ISCA games (previously known as the CPA games) every year.
- Regular movie nights with premieres of the blockbusters at a special discounted price for our Rec Club members and their friends/family.
