Maurice Dercks

As a Partner in Deloitte’s Financial Advisory practice in The Netherlands, I am specialised in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on large and complex (international) transactions, primarily providing due diligence, (re)structuring and valuation advice. In the last 25 years I have provided buy- and sell-side advice in many situations, including several landmark public-to-private transactions.

My specialty is investigating complex project organisations. I am the lead partner to serve clients active in IP&C (industrial production, construction, engineering and technical services) and also serve Private Equity clients. Further, I am actively involved in innovating our due diligence profession, through data analytics, web-based tooling and other new techniques.

Next to my day-to-day responsibilities, I am a board member of the Deloitte Impact Foundation, which enables us to provide our competences, knowledge, time and network to contribute to societal initiatives in the fields of education & employment, sustainability and endurable society. This also allows me to investigate with clients how their companies can contribute to a better society and future.
