He is on a mission to make procurement Awesome, moving the function from a cost focus to a value focus, and a driver for Sustainability (SDGs) and Innovation.

Michiel has experience in value chain & capability assessments, Sourcing & Category Management, Cost-down programs, Procurement strategy and operating model (re)design, process and technology design & deployment and GBS setup.
