This year we are hosting the second edition of the Leaders of the Future & BOLD Leader program. This program offers the chance to share your perspectives on what it takes to be a Leader of the Future, to co-create our vision on the future together and to battle it out for the 2019 BOLD Leader Award!

On October 8th, we aim to inspire you with BOLD visions of keynote speakers focused on what it takes to lead organizations into the future. In addition, we will have an interactive discussion on what leadership capabilities we need for the future of work in order to meet the expectations of a millennial workforce. By means of enabling each client and young leader with an appealing vision to step into the conversation, we will discuss how people should lead multi-generational teams. This event will also be the kick off of the 2020 Deloitte BOLD Leader Award program. Finally, we will close the event with some drinks.

Deloitte Leaders of the Future & BOLD Leader Program

Deloitte’s Leader of the Future & BOLD Leaders Program 2019-2020 consists of the Leaders of the Future Event (October 8th), followed by a short campaign, and will culminate with the 2020 Human Capital Trends Launch in April 2020 – where we will also award the BOLD Leader of the year.

The BOLD Leader of the year nominees will be identified based on nominations from peers or by themselves, during and shortly after the Leaders of the Future Event. Based on vlogs in which the nominees show their BOLDness and their impact, a top 10 is selected. 

Next, in a finalists process, nominees present their view of People Leadership trends. Nominees vote for each other in each category of BOLD, of which the scores define the TOP 3 leaders. See how our BOLD Leaders demonstrate their boldness in the video below.

During the annual Human Capital Trends Event in April 2020, our finalists present their views one final time after which the audience will vote for the BOLD Leader 2019-2020. The winner receives a Deloitte Greenhouse Lab session of his or her choice – for example a High Performing Teams Lab together with his or her team, or a Personal Plan.
