Privacy with a View – Part II
The commercial use of personal data
On the November 13th 2014 Risk Advisory organized Privacy with a View – Part II. The theme was “The commercial use of personal data”. Privacy is a hot topic – as reflected by the many people who had signed up for this event. More than 200 clients from over a 100 different organizations attended.
The ten-member privacy team from Deloitte, led by Annika Sponselee, had invited an appealing line-up of speakers to present the theme to privacy officers, lawyers and marketers alike. Speakers like Jacob Kohnstamm, chairman of the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Marcel Krom, Chief Information Officer of PostNL, and several speakers from major organizations such as KLM, KPN and TomTom had different views on the commercial use of personal data. Stef Heutink, creative director at Internetpeople and chairman that day, managed the entire programme.
The upper deck of the OCEANDIVA
The event took place in a unique location, the OCEANDIVA. Different stands had been arranged on the upper deck, such as the journal “Privacy & Compliance”, “Pseudonimiseer.nl” and our own services "Hacking as a Service", "HIVE", "Privacy Advisory Desk" and the brand new proposition “Customer Relevancy 2020”.
