New Deloitte consulting partner brings business process optimisation and transformation expertise to role
Deloitte has announced the appointment of Keith Robbins as a new Wellington-based consulting partner effective from 1 April, bringing the total number of equity partners in the New Zealand firm to 105.
Mr Robbins brings over 18 years of management consulting experience to the role with particular expertise in helping organisations improve their HR, finance, procurement and IT functions.
He joins Deloitte from global strategic advisory firm The Hackett Group where he has most recently been their Managing Director and Asia-Pacific Practice Leader based in Sydney. Prior to joining The Hackett Group in 2008, Mr Robbins spent twelve years with KPMG Consulting/BearingPoint, which included a stint as New Zealand managing director.
Deloitte CEO Thomas Pippos says the ability to attract talent of Mr Robbins’ calibre demonstrates Deloitte’s continued growth in the New Zealand market and its reputation as an employer of choice in the professional services industry.
“Keith has a strong consulting background and an exceptional track record in a variety of leadership roles in New Zealand and overseas. He brings a high level of capability and deep subject matter expertise to our consulting practice,” says Mr Pippos.
Mr Robbins says he’s looking forward to joining the Deloitte team.
“Being based in Wellington, one of my focus areas will be the public sector but I will also continue to work with private sector clients.
“The pace of change is disrupting business as usual across industries and driving a rethink in business processes and service delivery. Organisations are redefining their roles and objectives more broadly and considering non-traditional resource and delivery models,” says Mr Robbins.
“Deloitte has put together a talented team that is working alongside both public and private sector clients to navigate and make the most of these changes, making the decision to join the firm an obvious one for me.”
