Helping Asia Pacific lead the way on climate change
Deloitte Asia Pacific (AP) believes climate change is the biggest shared challenge facing humanity. It is a social, humanitarian, moral, environmental, and economic issue. We also believe that there is only a narrow window of time—the next 10 years—to make the decisions needed to alter the world’s current trajectory.
To mitigate the risks posed by climate change, the global economic system must be transformed to decouple growth from emissions-intensive activities. We believe the fight against climate change will be won or lost in Asia Pacific, and so we must also do our part.
As a society, we will need to reimagine, reinvent, and redesign how our businesses and economies operate, and many aspects of our day-to-day lives.
From WorldClimate initiatives to advancing climate literacy within our organization, taking action through Climate Action Month to reducing our carbon footprint—we know that climate change is not a choice.
