Lee-Ann Du Toit - Actuarial Services Partner and NZ Insurance Sector Lead

Lee-Ann has extensive practical, strategic and operational experience in the Insurance Industry, where she has developed a passion for the end-consumer and how the right needs-based insurance solutions can enhance their financial wellness. This is something she has gained through working in the insurance sector for almost 25 years across a number of countries. Through her various roles including Chief Actuary, Chief Customer Officer and Chief Digital Officer, she has developed a deep understanding of the challenges insurers face. Since joining Deloitte New Zealand in 2018, Lee-Ann has led various cross-functional engagements for NZ insurers, including supporting pre- and post-merger activities, IFRS17 implementations and customer and conduct deliverables. She also leads the Actuarial and Insurance practice in Wellington.

Grant Frear - Consulting Partner and NZ Financial Services Industry Lead

As one of the senior Consulting partners at Deloitte New Zealand. Grant leads our Deloitte Digital and Banking Sector teams and also serve on the Insurance Sector Leaders team. He specialises in technology-enabled business strategies, focusing on financial services clients.

Grant enjoys helping businesses develop and implement great strategies to help them achieve their business goals. While he admires great strategies, he has a lot more respect for those that can implement them. The world of business and technology is developing at pace, things that were once out of reach for many New Zealand businesses are now a reality, so to really take advantage of this, business needs to have a mind shift. Small is the new big - innovation is critical as the challenge shifts to how you can pull together the options that are now available to you. Well thought out strategies are great, the ability to execute is critical.

Greg Haddon - Tax Partner

Greg assists clients with compliance obligations and advises on the structure of new investments and the tax implications of specific transactions. He is also heavily involved in the development of tax policy in New Zealand and regularly interacts with government ministers and officials on proposed tax changes.

Greg's industry focus lies in the Financial Services Industry across banking, insurance and wealth management.
