Our team of Integration and Business Process Management (BPM) specialists can help you to get the best out of your investment in Oracle Middleware technology. Our architects, designers and developers have the full lifecycle covered and are used to working in DevOps environments.

The migration to the cloud is gathering pace and this brings additional complexity to your integration platform – particularly around security and API management. Executed correctly such a platform brings agility and outpace the competitions. We are also experienced in moving your integration platform itself to the cloud, whether it be through the rapidly growing range of Oracle Cloud solutions or through hosting an on premise Oracle integration solution in another IaaS service such as AWS.

Services we offer include implementation of:

  • API management through the Oracle API Platform and Oracle API Gateway
  • Oracle Service Bus for message brokering
  • Oracle SOA Suite BPEL Process Manger and Business Rules for web service orchestration and a powerful rules engine.
  • Oracle BAM for real time business activity monitoring
  • Oracle Managed File Transfer for advanced file management and monitoring
  • Oracle Cloud products including Integration Cloud Service (ICS) and Process Cloud Service (PCS)
  • Oracle Business Process Management (BPM) Suite for building complex business processes
  • Dev Ops, Continuous Integration and Automated Provisioning
  • A set of practices that emphasise the collaboration and communication of both software developers and IT professionals while automating the process of software delivery and infrastructure changes
  • Using tools like Puppet, Jenkins, and GITExamples include a large financial services organisation and a very large government department where we have automated environment provisioning and used continuous integration to rapidly migrated changes through environments

The Oracle Red Stack is a fully integrated, end to end solution that covers every layer of the technology stack from storage all the way through to applications. The entire stack is engineered to work together to provide a high performance environment for running business applications, either on premise or in the cloud.

We have extensive experience of architecting, implementing and managing solutions using the Oracle Red Stack with highly experienced Database Administrators (DBAs) and Infrastructure professionals.

An example Oracle Red Stack solution is where for a large distribution organisation we provide a fully outsourced solution for their Oracle ERP stack. We host their business applications on our own private cloud which includes storage, servers, operating system, middleware and Oracle EBS.

Deloitte’s Analytics and Information Management Practice specialises in Business Intelligence (BI) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) engagements, and is dedicated to providing full consulting services across these components:

The Deloitte Analytics and Information Management Practice comprises the skills, technologies, applications, and best practices for continually gaining insights to drive your business outcomes. Oracle provides a complete and integrated analytics stack for managing and optimising enterprise-wide performance.

Our Oracle practice has developers who are experienced and skilled in using a wide range of Oracle tools and technologies to build or customise business applications for multiple organisations in New Zealand across multiple sectors from government departments to commercial organisations.

The list of tools and technologies are extensive and include:

  • Java – using Oracle JDeveloper and Eclipse IDEs
  • JavaScript, Angular JS and Spring
  • Oracle PL/SQL and SQL
  • Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports
  • Oracle APEX
  • Oracle reporting tools including Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Discoverer and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition

One recent project was where we built an online portal for a large financial services organisation. This included a user interface built using Angular JS which communicated with multiple web services, both internally and externally, using a combination of SOA, Spring and Java.

A series of Oracle APEX applications have also recently been developed for a large government department following an incremental Agile approach. Together the apps deliver numerous key enabling features to users including bulk data loading, transformation, rapid data entry, data staging, reporting tools and integration with Oracle Policy Automation for financial calculations.

The migration to the cloud is gathering pace and this brings additional complexity to your integration platform – particularly around security and API management. Executed correctly such a platform brings agility and outpaces the competition. We are also experienced in moving your integration platform itself to the cloud, whether it be through the rapidly growing range of Oracle Cloud solutions or through an IaaS service such as AWS.

Oracle’s SOA Suite includes a unified toolset for the development of services and composite applications covering:

  • BPEL – a Business Service Execution Language which enables complex processing logic around web service calls including integrations to databases, web services, files, XML and more, providing orchestration and a powerful rules engine
  • OSB – the Oracle Service Bus implements integrating, mediating and managing interactions between services and applications
  • BPM – the Oracle Business Process Management Suite provides a complete set of tools for creating, executing and optimising business processes
  • API Management – using Oracle API Platform and Oracle API Gateway
  • BAM – using Oracle Business Activity Monitoring for real time monitoring
  • MFT – Oracle Managed File Transfer for advanced file management and monitoring
  • Oracle Cloud products including Integration Cloud Service (ICS) and Process Cloud Service (PCS)

DevOps, continuous integration, continuous delivery and automated environment provisioning are some of the techniques that we have applied on multiple projects which leads to rapid migration of changes through environments, enabling accelerating timeframes for getting changes developed and into production. These techniques are built using tools like Puppet, Jenkins, GIT and others.

A recent integration project saw us replacing a legacy integration solution with the Oracle SOA Suite which covered hundreds of integrations, with the development performed under very tight deadlines with us completing the project early and under budget.

The Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite is a complete integrated platform for an organisation to manage internal and external identities plus provide a comprehensive access control solution for applications and websites. The enables businesses to ensure that they are prepared for the digital age, minimising security risks and improving IT regulatory compliance.

We were the first Oracle partner in New Zealand to join the Oracle Identity Management NZ Partner Programme and are actively working with Oracle on a range of projects across both commercial and public sector  organisations.

A recent, ongoing project is implementing the Oracle IAM Suite for a large government department with them using the solution to manage identities for not just their internal staff but also a very large population of external users. The solution is also used to provide fine grained access control to applications both on premise and in the cloud.
