Covid-19: Deloitte Announcement

UPDATE: 8 March, 4pm

Following our confirmation that a colleague in our Deloitte Philippines office tested positive for COVID-19, several of our employees have been victimized by irresponsible statements on social media. In particular, several posts identified Deloitte personnel who were wrongly alleged to have tested positive for COVID-19.

We urge everyone to stop sharing false and/or inaccurate information and to stop the spread of baseless information which causes undue distress to the individuals and their families. Deloitte Philippines will not hesitate to take necessary action to protect our people and we are in contact with the relevant authorities.

As a precautionary measure, our offices in Six/NEO and Seven/NEO in BGC will be closed on 9 March 2020 for a further thorough disinfection, but we will continue to provide services off-site.

Deloitte Philippines continues to comply with the instructions and directions from the Department of Health. Be assured that we are monitoring and managing the COVID-19 situation in order to respond as necessary.
