Despite a slowdown in 2015, growth prospects for the Philippines remain strong as it is expected to continue to have the fastest GDP growth among the ASEAN-5. But persistent challenges such as poor infrastructure and restrictive foreign ownership laws have made sustainable, inclusive growth an elusive goal for the country. This year, Filipinos elected a new president who ran on a platform of change and a tough stance on crime. How will the country fare under this new administration?
