Cindy F. Ortiz

Cindy has 30 years of professional services experience in public accounting practice and in the academe. She has significant experience in leading audit and other engagements for multinational companies, Shared Service Client Audit, Business Process Outsourcing, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, and Life Sciences & Healthcare.

She was the Chair of ACPAPP Foundation and President of the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice (ACPAPP) in 2012 and 2011. In 2017, she was actively involved in the Women Empowerment Committee of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP). This year, she is the Vice Chair of the Competitiveness and Ease of Doing Business of the MAP. She is also a member of the Business Education Committee of the Financial Executives of the Philippines. She was recently appointed as Chairperson of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Council, the body tasked to promulgate Auditing and Assurance Standards to be used by CPAs in Public Practice.

Cindy is a Certified Public Accountant with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from De La Salle University. She has attended various training programs such as Professional Directors Program from the Institute of Corporate Directors, the Executive Education Programme from the Institute of Management Development, Switzerland, the Strategic Business and Economics Program from the University of Asia and the Pacific, and the Enterprise Wide Risk Management Course from the Asian Institute of Management.
