Deloitte advised the owner of Akant Sp. z o.o. in the process of sales of 70 percent of shares to Hunter Douglas Polska Sp. z o.o.

Deloitte Mergers & Acquisitions Team, Deloitte Legal and Deloitte Tax Advisory advised the founder of Akant, which is a leading Polish manufacturer of window screens, while acquiring the majority shareholder, the Hunter Douglas Group.
Akant sp. o.o. is a leading Polish manufacturer of pleats, blinds and window shades. The investor, which is the world's largest player in the industry, has taken 70 percent of shares in Akant Sp. z o.o. The transaction value has not been disclosed.
Deloitte’s Mergers & Acquisitions Team consisted of Miroslaw Pazura (Director), Maciej Jaskuła (Deputy Director) and Katarzyna Michalak (Senior Associate), under the supervision of Artur Dobrowolski, who also oversees the project supervision.
Deloitte’s Legal Team, advising the Seller, included Grzegorz Gajda (Partner Associate) and Dominika Krzyżaniak (Senior Associate), under the supervision of Partner, Robert Pasternak.
Deloitte's Tax Advisory was represented by Maciej Guzek (Associate Partner), Katarzyna Kurzawska-Puchała (Senior Manager) and Andrzej Żołna (Manager), under the supervision of Partner, Seweryn Dąbrowski.
The scope of Deloitte consulting included comprehensive support of the Seller in the preparation and negotiation of transaction documentation.
Akant was established in 1998. As a result of dynamic growth, it achieved the position of one of the leaders in the made-to-measure segment on the Polish market.
