António Lagartixo

António Lagartixo is Managing Partner/ CEO of Deloitte Portugal

With more than 24 years of professional experience, his career is marked by leadership roles in consulting firms across the globe, having worked with leading companies in markets from different activity sectors.

He started his professional career in 1995 at Arthur Andersen and later joined Deloitte, performing roles in several business areas - financial advisory & corporate finance, business consulting, technology, etc.

In 2003, he was part of the Maksen consulting founding team, having been promoted as a Global Managing Partner of this organization in 2007. Thus, he was responsible for the company’s worldwide coordination, leading the opening of several operations in Europe, Africa and South America.

In 2005, he joined Deloitte as a member of the Executive Committee, responsible for the coordination of the Business Unit that includes all the services provided to the non-financial sectors - Consumer, Energy, Resources & Industrials, Public Sector, Life Sciences & HealthCare and Technology, Media & Telecom, becoming the Deloitte Portugal global leader in june 2019.

António Lagartixo has a bachelors in Business Management from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa, with other several academic degrees, namely in Strategic Management at Universidade Católica Portuguesa and in Professional Services Firms Leadership at Harvard Business School.
