Today’s university students and faculty are often embracing smarter solutions faster than the campuses on which they study and work. To overcome this gap, Deloitte is working with a top Portuguese University in Lisbon to improve one of its campus business processes while integrating a collaborative technological solution for the Campus Operations Centre.

The next-generation campus will look decidedly different from universities and colleges of the past and in many cases, the present. The education landscape is faced with complex disruption from a changing student body who are digital natives expecting a more intuitive experience. To keep pace, this Portuguese University intends to help students to develop their projects, through a living-lab solution. Where everyone can idealize, design, and develop ideas, “morphing” them into long-lasting ventures.
