Ahmed Al Qassabi joins Deloitte in Oman, in Audit & Assurance and advisory

26 November 2014 - Deloitte & Touche is proud to announce that Ahmed Al Qassabi will be joining the firm. In his new position, within the audit & advisory division, Mr. Qassabi will be responsible for delivering Audit & Assurance engagements at the continued high quality expected from Deloitte. Mr. Qassabi is a Chartered Certified Accountant and brings with him over 10 years of audit and accounting experience.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Mr. Qassabi was a director of compliance and disclosure in the Capital Market Authority. He has had several senior roles within the Capital Market Authority before rising to the position of director. Mr. Qassabi was the financial auditor in the Compliance and Corporate Governance Department, and prior to that he was the senior accountant in the Directorate of Financial Affairs. He has also served on a number of audit committees of high profile national companies and has an intimate knowledge of capital market regulations and applicable laws.
