FTA published a guide for the request of tax residency and commercial activities certificates

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has published a new guide on how to complete the registration application for creating a tax certificate account on the FTA’s e-services portal and how to apply for the tax residency and commercial activities certificates.

The applications should be submitted via the FTA’s e-services portal for Tax Residency Certificates for both natural and legal persons and for Commercial Activities Certificates.

The guide has outlined the registration process, how to complete and submit the application with the required supporting documents and how to pay for the relevant submission fees.
