Another step closer to VAT implementation
On 23 April the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) published the text of the Value Add Tax (VAT) and Excise Treaties agreed between the GCC countries. The treaties are available on the following links: VAT Treaty and Excise Tax Treaty.
In addition, the KSA’s General Authority of Zakat and Tax published its user manual for those required to register for Excise tax. It is available here: KSA Registration User Manual.
